Our Founder's story...
“Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life” – is a phrase attributed to intellectual giants such as Mark Twain and Confucius. It’s from this inspiration that I decided to start GLM Luxury Events. Events, travel, and adventure isn’t a job – it’s part of my DNA
My event and travel journey began in college when I had the opportunity to journey to the then U.S.S.R. as part of a Soviet Political Science Course. I remember thinking, I must go on this trip, I must make this happen because if I do, I’ll travel for the rest of my life. So, I ended up selling a cash value life insurance policy that my father established to pay for the trip. It was a decision that forever changed my life.
Since that time, I’ve traveled the world. Past jobs and personal travels had me planning events, trips, site inspections, cruises, fly away days, excursions, day trips, cooking classes, wine tastings…..and the list goes on.
Throughout my career, I’ve planned and executed trips around the world (61 countries and counting), including an adventure to the end of the earth – Antarctica.
As the great traveler, explorer and scholar, Ibn Battuta said, “Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.” Join GLM Luxury Events and allow us to help you realize your event of a lifetime “or just around the corner” and add to your own story and the stories you tell.
